A matched pair of mezzotints with touches of engraving in black ink. 1832/34. Very fine pair of impressions from the recorded 1834 first issue, published by Moon. With Moon's
scratch letter publication line and date.

Extremely fine first issue impressions with brilliant tonal contrasts. On pale cream heavy wove paper. Excellent original condition; very slight signs of an old mount mark. Not restored. The pair in matching condition. Sheets: 32 1/4 x 22 1/2ins. Plates: 27 1/4 x 20 1/2 and 27 1/4 x 20 3/8ins.
