Drawing in black pen and ink. 1951. Signed (twice) and dated 1951. Inscribed 'Chère Edith' - probably a dedication to Edith Piaf, and annotated with Surreal nonsense quotations.
Provenance: Private Collection - Purchased Paris c. 1968.

Drawing in pen on cream wove paper. Excellent original condition. Partially mounted on a wove backing sheet. Drawn virtually to full sheet size. Sheet: 7 3/4 x 5 5/8ins (198x144mm).
