Original lithograph in six colours. 1954/56. Signed in the stone. Trial proof before the edition of 150 impressions, none pencil signed. Edition issued in the album: Lithographies - Jean Cocteau', printed at the Mourlot Studio and issued by Mourlot in 1975. (The image was drawn by Cocteau on stone in 1954/56 but the edition was not pulled at that time).

Excellent very strong trial proof impression. On pale cream wove Arches paper. Excellent condition. Full margins. Sheet: 25 7/8 x 20 1/2ins. Image overall: 17 5/8 x 11 ¼ (448x285mm).
