Self Portrait.

Original etching with drypoint. 1857. Impression from the first edition of the cancelled plate. As issued by Vollard in an edition of 150 impressions in 1915. Only some 15 impressions are known prior to the cancellation.

Strong impression printed with plate tone from the edition for Vollard. On pale cream textured Rives paper. Excellent original condition; not cleaned. With margins.
