Buste. 1954.

Original lithograph in black-grey chalk. 1954. One of a few studio proofs printed apart from the issued edition which was just 30 impressions. Drawn at the Atelier Mourlot and edition issued by Galerie Maeght, Paris 1954. This separate proof inscribed by Mourlot as ' Epreuve de l'Atelier Mourlot' and 'Litho Originale de A.Giacometti'. Also with the stamp of the Succession Mourlot on the reverse.
Note: One of the first group of important lithographs that Giacometti drew in the 1950's. The editions at that date were very small.
