Original etching in black ink. 1963. Numbered (4) in pencil from the edition of 70 impressions on Rives paper (the total edition was 120 impressions plus proofs on various papers). With the blind stamp 'Alberto Giacometti - Eau-Forte Originale' - there were no pencil signed impressions published. Printed at the studio of Crommelynk, Paris 1968. Issued in 1968 by L.Broder for the series: ‘La Magie Quotidienne’. Ref: Lust - Giacometti The Complete Graphics No.192
Note: This plate was etched by Giacometti in 1963; however the plate was not proofed or editioned until 1968 when his friend Broder was preparing the 'Magie Quotidienne' album.
Excellent strong impression. On pale cream Misumi paper. Very fresh fine condition. Full margins. Sheet: 505x358mm. Plate: 418x278mm. 16 1/2 x 11ins.
