Ref: Rigo and Ruhé - Lucio Fontana Graphics and Multiples no E 21 Note: This was one of the first group of ‘concetto spaziale’ compositions that Fontana made in a print medium. They are a landmark in the linking of conceptual and graphic art and won the first prize at the Tokyo Biennale in 1965. Fontana referred to such works as ‘incisione spaziale’. Extremely fine impression with the embossing fresh and clean. On cream wove Fabriano paper. Excellent condition; the slightest trace of old framing at the sheet edges.
