Original woodcut in five colours. 1962-65. Signed in pencil. Numbered (5) in pencil from the first edition of 60 signed impressions, plus 10 (X) proofs . Hand printed at the studio of Fequet et Baudier, Paris 1965. Issued in the series: Soleil Recerclé, by Louis Broder, Paris 1966.
Note: There was also a subsequent edition of the Soleil Receclé woodcuts in album form, issued unsigned in an edition of 235 impressions.

Brilliant impression with very fresh unfaded colours. On cream textured handmade wove Velin d'Auvergne paper with the ‘Arp’ watermark. Excellent condition. Full margins. Sheet: 545 x 440mm. Block - image: 300 x 280mm.
