Original lithograph. 1954. An exceptionally rare, possibly unique proof, for an un-editioned and un-issued lithograph drawn by Giacometti 1954. Drawn and printed at Atelier Mourlot, Paris 1954.
Note: This composition is not recorded in the Lust catalogue and we have not traced any other impressions. It dates from the same period in Giacometti’s work in lithography as ‘Figure in the Studio’ 1954 (Lust 8). The intended edtion would probably have been 30 impressions as with the other issued works of this date.

Excellent impression. On pale cream wove Arches paper. Full margins. Sheet: 500 x 365mm. Image: 378 x 264mm.
