Total edition of 25 impressions, including proofs. Printed at the Atelier Mourlot, 1953. Issued by the artist. Extremely rare. (Only 2 impressions recorded on the market since 1990)

One of the great masterworks of Dubuffet's period in the 1950's when he built his images out of transfers from natural forms such as leaves and rubbings from textures likewalls etc.

Superb impression. On heavy cream wove Arches paper. Excellent condition. Small margins. Sheet: 565x741mm. Image: 507x 650mm. 19 7/8 x 25 1/2ins.
