Original screenprint in colours. 1978. Signed with initials in pencil and dated '78. Numbered (65) from the edition of 70. (There were also 12 proofs). Published by Pace Editions, New York 1978. Ref: Webel - Dubuffet L'Oeuvre Gravé vol 2 no 1261.

The 'Faits Mémorables' compositions are masterworks of Dubuffet's later work in prints. The images use reassembled elements from the Mnémotechnique painting (CR 32 no 50) and the prints required 62 overprintings to complete.

Superb impression with brilliant colour. Smooth pale cream wove paper. Generally excellent condition;very minor flaking of the white ink. Full sheet: 748x980mm. Image: 660x900mm.
