Les Moyens d'Existence. Rose et Poire.

Etching with aquatint in colours - conceived & commenced by Magritte in 1966; the work on the plate completed in 1967 by the Visat studio with authorisation of his widow. Signed with the facsimile signature authorised by Mme Magritte (no hand-signed impressions exist). Numbered (XXI - 21) from special edition of XXV-25. Total issued edition of 350 plus proofs. Edition printed at the Atelier Visat, 1967/68.

Note: With the authentication stamp - 'Gravure Originale René Magritte'. Issued in series: Les Moyens d'Existence'.
