Lithograph in black ink. c.1888. Signed in pencil by Degas. From the first edition of 25 signed impressions. Drawn, as were all Degas lithographs at this date, in collaboration with William Thornley and also signed by him. (There was a subsequent edition of 100 unsigned with printed publication line). Printed at the Atelier Becquet Frères. Published in the series:'Quinze Lithographies', Boussod-Valadon 1889.

Excellent rich impression on cream chine appliqué with a beige/green stiff wove backing sheet. Print in excellent condition; backing sheet with slightest traces of old mount. Sheet: 360x285mm. Image to border (chine): 270x225mm.
