A Rake's Progress. Poster. 1963.

Lithograph and offset-lithograph in colours. 1963. Signed in pencil and dated '63. A very rare signed proof before the added extra exhibition lettering for the 'Rakes Progress' exhibition at the Fitzwilliam Museum, 1964. Drawn & printed at the Royal College of Art, London 1965. Note: This impression was printed direct from hand-drawn plates, but the issued poster was created by photo-lithography.

Excellent strongly-printed impression. On medium-weight smooth cream wove paper (the issued posters were on poster paper). Generally good condition a small repaired tear (approx. 15mm.) in the left margin. Traces of old restoration on verso.Drawn to full sheet size. Sheet: 795x580mm. 31 1/4 x 22 7/8ins.
