Etching with roulette in black with hand colouring in blue and gold after a maquette by Dali. 1968/69. Signed in pencil and with the signature blindstamp. Inscribed in pencil as: E.A. (épreuve d'artiste). A proof for the special hand coloured edition of 145 (there was also a monochrome edition of c.300 with further impressions in various ink tones). Issued for the series 'Faust', 1968. Commissioned by Graphik Europ Anstalt and Pierre Argillet, Paris, 1968.
Printed at the Atelier Robbe, Paris 1969.
