Toyen, as she liked to be called, was Czech born but moved to Paris in 1947 to exhibit with Breton's Surrealist circle. Extremely fine strong impression with excellent colour. On pale cream wove Rive paper. Excellent original condition. Full margins. Image drawn virtually to the full sheet size. Sheet: 12 3/4 x 16 5/8ins. 325x423mm.
