Conceived and created by Degas; lithographed by William Thornley with the close co-operation of Degas (who retouched the stone before the edition). From the edition of 100 (plus 26 proofs). Issued in the album: 'Quinze Lithographies - Fifteen lithographs'. Printed at the Atelier Becquet. Issued by Boussod-Valadon, Paris 1889.
