Soleil Recerclé no 7. Around the Sun no 7.

Original woodcut printed in colours. 1962-65. Signed in pencil. Numbered (15) from the special hand-printed and signed edition of 60 impressions (plus 10 proofs). Issued as no 7 in the series: 'Soleil Recerclé', published by L. Broder, Paris 1966. Printed at the studio of Fequet et Baudier. Note: There was also an unsigned edition of 235 impressions for the book edition.

Excellent impression with very strong colours. On pale cream wove Auvergne paper with the Arp watermark. Excellent condition. Full margins. Sheet: 21 1/2 x 17 1/8ins. 545x435mm. Image: 12 x 9 5/8ins. 305x245mm.
