Original lithograph in colours. 1947. Signed in pencil. Numbered (49) in pencil from the edition of 100. Issued for the album: 'Brunidor 2', 1947-52. Probably printed at the Atelier Désjobert. Commissioned by Robert Altmann. Herold joined the Surrealist Group in the early 1940's. His strongly coloured figure compositions of that period are striking examples of the later stages of movement
