The Metropolitan Triptych. 1974/1977.

Complete triptych of etchings with aquatint printed in colours, on a single sheet. 1977/81. Signed in pencil. Numbered (84) from the edition of 99 impressions on a single sheet (plus a few proofs). Etched and printed at the studio of Ediciones Poligrafa, Barcelona 1981. (With the relief plate on the right hand panel). There was also an edition of 99 on three separate sheets.
Note: Composition derived from the oil in the Metropolitan.

Excellent impression with fresh colours. On pale cream wove Arches-type paper. Excellent condition. Full margins. Sheet: 24 5/8 x 43 3/8ins. Each plate: 15 1/4 x 11 5/8ins (387x296mm).
