Original etching in black ink. 1813. From the first edition of 60 impressions. As completed by Crome in 1813 and before any rework. From the edition issued by Mrs Crome, 1834. Almost no impressions are known dating from 1813.

Beautiful silvery impression with delicate contrasts. On off white laid india (chine appliqué) with a cream wove backing sheet. Excellent condition; a tiny thin point on the bottom platemark. With 1 1/2 - 2 1/4ins margins. Sheet: 12 3/4 x 11 1/8ins. Plate:8 7/8x 7 5/8ins (226x194mm)
