Rare very early impression with the first version of the sky and inked in grey.
Extremely brilliant early impression in grey ink. On medium weight pale cream laid 18th century paper with coat of arms watermark. Generally excellent condition; slight rub on the left side where paper was slightly creased; the usual centre fold, now flattened, from where originally included in an album. Exceptionally good 1 inch margins. Sheet: 15 x 21ins. Plate: 12 7/8 x 18 7/8ins (325x480mm)
