Original linocut, white line on black. 1938. Signed with the monogram in the block. From the first issued edition published by San Lazzaro for 'XXe Sičcle', Paris 1938. (This edition was originally c.1500 impressions but at least half was lost/destroyed between 1939 and 1945.)

Excellent crisp bold impression. On pale cream medium-weight wove paper. Excellent condition. Full sheet as issued. Image almost to full sheet size (1/8-1/4inch margins). Block: 11 7/8 x 9ins. (302x229mm).
