Original woodcut in emerald green ink on bright cream paper. 1938. From the regular first edition, but unsigned as issued . Published in the folder XXe Siecle, No 4 1938. Issued by San Lazzarro, Paris 1938. Scarce even unsigned in this first 1938 issue.

Superb fresh impression showing the block pressure marks on the reverse of the sheet. On bright cream tinted wove paper. Excellent condition. Printed virtually to the full sheet size, as issued. Sheet: 12 5/8 x 9 l/2ins. Block: 12 1/4 x 9 l/4ins (310x235mm).
