Original etching with aquatint printed in colours. 1957. Rare proof before the issued edition (unfolded sheet), unsigned as for the album edition; the issued edition was 130 impressions (plus 60 signed impressions). Issued under the title: La Bague d'Aurore by Broder, Paris 1957. Printed at the studio of Crommelynck and Dutrou.

Superb glowing impression with sparkling colours. On pale cream wove Rives paper. Excellent condition; one tiny margin nick repaired, not affecting the plate. On unfolded
sheets. Full small margins, as issued. Plate: 5 1/2 x 4 3/8ins (138x112mm)
