The series of lithographs by Corbusier issued under the title ?Oeuvres Plastiques? in 1938 was not known to Ketterer or to Weber when they prepared their catalogues of Corbusier?s graphic work. Research is currently being done to prepare a more comprehensive catalogue of Corbusier?s prints, based on material from the estate archives as well as all other sources. The prints will be listed in that catalogue when it is issued. The lithographs are of considerable interest in that they are from the earliest period in Corbusier?s oeuvre of any of his prints. The full circumstances of their issue are not yet fully clear. |
