Original lithograph in black ink. 1950/51. Signed in pencil. Numbered (26) from the edition of 100. Drawn at Matisse's studio in vence; edition printed at the Atelier Duchatel, Paris 1950/51. (There were also 10 artist's proofs).

Extremely fine strong impression. On pale cream chine appliqué, on a cream wove vélin d'Arches backing sheet, as issued. Excellent condition; slightest traces of old mounting. Good margins. Sheet: 482x379mm. Image (chine): 351x282mm. 13 7/8 x 11 1/8ins.
