Original etching with aquatint in black ink. 1970/72. Signed with initials. Inscribed by Moore as: 'Bon à Tirer - Essai 5'. The unique final guide proof for the edition, and no 5 of the sequence of working proofs. Issued in a published edition of 50 in 1973. Etched and printed at the Atelier Lacourière, Paris. Edition issued by Cramer, Geneva.

Superb final trial proof impression with very rich tonality. On heavy cream wove BFK paper. Excellent condition for such a working proof. Full sheet: 250 x 374mm. 9 7/8 x 14 3/4ins. Plate: 110x 250mm. 4 3/8 x 9 7/8ins.
