One of the greatest masterpieces in the 1940's period of Picasso's work in lithography. He built up the composition through a series of stages, finally adding the black background and completely reworking the image with the scraper.

Superb and brilliant impression. On pale cream Arches paper. Excellent condition. Wide margins. Sheet: 654x500mm. Image: 498x398mm. 19 5/8 x 15 5/8ins.
