Original lithograph in black ink. 1925/27. Signed in pencil. Numbered (98) from the edition of 130; total edition including finished proofs of 150. Drawn by Matisse in 1925/26 and probably printed at the studio of Desjobert, Paris. Issued in the series: 'Dix Danseuses - Ten Dancers' by Galerie d'Art Contenporain, Paris in 1927.

Excellent strongly tonal impression. On stiff cream wove Arches paper. Generally excellent condition; some very minor traces of old mounting on the reverse. Drawn virtually to the full sheet size, as issued. Sheet: 505x325mm. Image: 458x278mm. 18 x 10 7/8ins.
