Colour lithograph derived from the cut-paper original maquette by Matisse. 1953/54. Created and editioned at the Mourlot Studio, Paris 1954, under the supervision of Matisse. Issued by Teriade for Verve, Paris 1958. Lithograph plates erased after the edition. Large format colour lithograph.

Excellent impression with totally fresh colours. On pale cream smooth wove paper. On the triple sheet, as issued, with a trace of the central folds, now flattened. Excellent original condition. Sheet: 356x780mm. 14 x 30 3/4ins.
