Inquiétude or Devant la Mer.

Original lithograph in colours, drawn as a song sheet for A. Bosc. 1901. Signed and dated in the stone. Commissioned by Bosc to illustrate the cover sheet for the popular waltz by Gaston Roux. Printed at the Atelier Chaimbaud, Paris 1901. Complete with the music on the fold sheet. Very rare, no impression could be found by Ginestet for her catalogue.

Superb impression with very strong colours. On light cream wove commercial paper of typically poor quality. Generally exceptionally fine condition for such a rare and ephemeral work; some slight 2-3mm nicks to the outer sheet edge which have been restored. Drawn and printed to the full sheet size. Sheet: 13 3/4 x 10 3/8ins. 350x262mm.
