Original lithograph in colours. 1947. Signed in pencil. Inscribed in pencil as:'épreuve d'artiste'. One of five proofs before the edition of 50 impressions. Drawn and printed at the Atelier Mourlot, Paris March 1847. Issued by Galerie Leiris, Paris 1947.
Note: Black drawn in pen and brush on zinc, red added using cut-out pasted paper and grey by overprinting.

Extremely fine strong impression. On pale cream wove Arches paper. Generally excellent condition; slight trace of old tape in the right margin and on reverse. Full margins; sheet 500 x 650mm. Image overall: 17 3/4 x23 3/4ins. 452 x 605mm.
