Madchen im Hemd am Fenster. Girl in her Nightdress at the Window.

Original drypoint in black ink. 1894. Signed in pencil. Also with the pencil signature of the printer Felsing lower left. This impression from the small edition printed for Munch by Felsing in Berlin c. 1898/99.

Beautiful impression with wiped tone and some drypoint burr. On cream stiff wove paper. Generally excellent condition; the faintest suggestion of a mount mark and traces of old mount hinges on the reverse. The extreme lower right corner of the margin thinned from an old mount hinge. Good margins. Plate: 8 3/4 x 6 1/4ins. 221x158mm.
