Original linocut in black ink. 1952. Signed and dated in pencil. Cut and printed by Pasmore himself.
This exceptionally rare work was never printed in any edition and this may well be the only impression which ever existed. It marks the very earliest period of Pasmore's graphic work and uses forms developed from the sea studies made in St. Ives in 1950.

Exceptional hand printed impression showing the block relief. On soft wove paper. Full sheet as printed. Generally excellent condition; slight traces of time soiling in the margins. Sheet: 12 1/8 x 11 3/4ins. 308x300mm.
