Rare proof before the edition of 40 signed impressions. (There were also 160 unsigned impressions; plates then cancelled). Issued for the series: Le Miroir de L'Homme. Printed at the Arte Maeght studio, Paris 1972. Issued by Galerie Maeght. Ref: Dupin - Mirķ Engraver no 566. Excellent impression with brilliant rich fresh colours. On pale cream wove Arches paper. Excellent condition. Printed to the full sheet size from an oversize plate and thus without platemark, as issued. Sheet: 17 1/8 x 12 7/8ins (435x328mm).
